DESCRIPTION:Executive Function Skills are an important part of our daily li
ves but often are not center stage within the curriculum we focus on with
students. The book&nbsp\;Supporting Student Executive Functions\, Insights
and Strategies for Educators\, by Lisa Carey and Alexis Reid\,&nbsp\;expl
ains how these skills develop\, how executive functioning challenges show
up in the classroom\, and how\, if unaddressed\, those challenges interfer
e with student learning. In January\, chapter 6 will be covered.&nbsp\;We
will meet from&nbsp\;3:30-4:15 once a month to discuss the key takeaways f
rom each chapter\, specifically looking at how you can implement executive
function skills in the classroom. Join with your team members\, or partic
ipate on your own. The first 30 people to register will receive a free dig
 ital copy of the book.
