DESCRIPTION:\n\nIn this four-day training\, participants will learn evidenc
 e-based instructional strategies needed to work students with behavioral c
 hallenges\, students with ASD and other students with complex needs. &nbsp
 \;Intervention always includes instruction!&nbsp\; Strategies will include
  teaching methods to use before\, during and after behaviors occur. &nbsp\
 ; This training is designed to provide participants with tools to interven
 e before instructional errors or behaviors can occur\, resulting in measur
 able student progress. This Train the Trainer model will provide participa
 nts with training tools to go back to their districts and train direct car
 e staff\, teachers\, other service providers\, etc. Participants will be r
 equired to demonstrate competency in the skills learned in this training. 
 This training is designed for people who work directly with students withi
 n the classroom setting\, trainers\, direct service providers\, educationa
 l leaders\, coordinators or other professionals charged with providing tra
 ining to other adult learners and who are confident in doing so in an appl
 ied learning context. &nbsp\;Teams of two or more are recommended.&nbsp\;C
 offee and bottled water is provided. Lunch (on your own). \n\nLearning Tar
 gets\n\nDay 1 &amp\; Day 2\n\n1. &nbsp\; Antecedent Interventions (Opportu
 nities to Respond\, Behavior Momentum\, Pre-Correction\, Choice\, etc.)\n\
 n2. &nbsp\; Objective observation and Report Writing\n\n3. &nbsp\; Measure
 ment and Graphing\n\n4. &nbsp\; Reinforcement\,&nbsp\;Prompting and Prompt
  Fading\, and Stimulus Fading\n\nDay 3 &amp\; Day 4\n\n5. &nbsp\; Shaping\
 , Task Analysis\,&nbsp\;Errorless teaching and Error correction - Hands on
  practice with a partner&nbsp\;\n\n6. &nbsp\; Professional Practice (Treat
 ment integrity\, Confidentiality\, etc.)\n\n7. &nbsp\; Train the Trainer 
 – Practice training components using the Behavior Skills Training Model 
 in small groups\n\n\n	Please indicate in "Accommodations" if you will need
 &nbsp\;a lactation room.&nbsp\;\n	Participants will only receive CE credit
  if they attend the whole training and do not leave early.\n	Particpants a
 re required to watch&nbsp\;5 online webinars&nbsp\;before the training.\n	
 Participants will participate in an Implementation&nbsp\;Activity event&nb
 sp\;to present on&nbsp\;strategies learned from the training\,&nbsp\;and p
 rovide student outcome data. &nbsp\;This event will be discussed in detail
  at the training.&nbsp\;\n	This training aligns with KSBE mission and goal
 s by focusing on individualizing student programming and providing evidenc
 ed based strategies to improve student outcomes.&nbsp\;\n\n\nThe BACB does
  not warrant\, endorse\, sponsor\, or approve or partner with the event\, 
 organization\, or instructor.&nbsp\;&nbsp\;12&nbsp\;CEUs will be awarded f
