 nformation.&nbsp\;Every day\, in classrooms from early childhood through h
 igh school\, behaviors occur that interfere with desired academic and soci
 al outcomes. &nbsp\;On close examination\, however\, these behaviors could
  actually be the result of social competencies that are not developed\, ta
 ught\, mastered\, and demonstrated. For students with autism and other com
 plex disabilities\, a delay in interpersonal and intrapersonal skills inte
 rferes with being successful\, both socially and academically\, at school\
 , at home\, and in the community. &nbsp\;Teaching\, practicing\, modeling\
 , and encouraging essential personal life habits that are universally unde
 rstood as making people good human beings and citizens is a Kansans Can ou
 tcome. The Kansans Can Competency Framework (Noonan &amp\; Gaumer-Erickson
 \, 2016) has been adopted by KSDE and provides a foundation and resources 
 to support social competencies (e.g. interpersonal and intrapersonal skill
 s) for all students. In this professional development opportunity\, TASN A
 TBS provides a process that includes assessment\, planning\, and implement
 ing evidence-based strategies for students with disabilities who need spec
 ially designed\, tier three instruction to develop competencies such as as
 sertiveness\, self-regulation\, self-awareness\, communication and self-ef
 ficacy.Special education teachers\, related-service providers\, instructio
 nal coaches and specialists\, administrators\, and family members will ben
 efit from this opportunity that includes creating a plan to implement with
  a student or group of students with delays in social-emotional skills.Dur
 ing&nbsp\;this three-day online&nbsp\;training\, participants will design 
 and implement a plan for one of their students or small group of students.
  This process will be supported by TASN ATBS coaches. After classroom impl
 ementation\, participants will return&nbsp\;on&nbsp\;day three\, through a
 n online&nbsp\;format\,&nbsp\;to&nbsp\;share their&nbsp\;student outcomes 
 and reflection with&nbsp\;colleagues on November 20\, 2024.Please register
