  Discussion over Trauma-Informed Practices for Students with ASD.&nbsp\; T
 his is not a mandatory meeting.\n\nStudents diagnosed with Autism Spectrum
  Disorder (ASD) are at high risk&nbsp\;for experiencing stressful and trau
 matic life events (Mehtar and Mukaddes&nbsp\;2011\; Taylor and Gotham&nbsp
 \;2016).&nbsp\; Evidence-based practices (EBP) are interventions&nbsp\;or 
 a set of procedures in&nbsp\;which research shows the practices produce&nb
 sp\;positive outcomes for children and youth&nbsp\;with ASD (The National 
 Professional Development Center on Autism Spectrum Disorders\, 2022) This 
 module aligns EBP for students with ASD&nbsp\;with a trauma-informed frame
 work created by Dr. Lori Desautels with the&nbsp\;Educational Neuroscience
  Symposium at Butler University College of Education and Revelations in Ed
 ucation.&nbsp\; This framework is referred to as Applied Educational Nuero
 science (AEN) and is based upon four pillars which support&nbsp\;a relatio
 nal and brain aligned approach for all students (Revelations in Education\
 , 2020).\n\nJoin TASN ATBS trainers and other AIT members as we examine an
 d discuss how trauma-informed practices align with EBP for ASD and how edu
 cators can utilize the AEN framework as they provide educational services 
 to students with ASD.&nbsp\;\n\nPrior to participating in this discussion\
 , participants are expected to watch the Trauma-Informed Practices for Stu
 dents with ASD module&nbsp\;on the TASN ATBS Moodle site. The discussion w
