KSDE SETS Special Education Administrators' Quarterly Meeting #1

Course description

This meeting is structured to include topics for both new and veteran special education administrators.  We encourage special education administrators and any support staff who perform special education administrative functions to attend.  Due to the virtual format of the Leadership Conference this year, this meeting intends to be guidance for participants for the coming year and for viewing sessions for the KSDE TASN Leadership Conference.  Some of the topics covered will include:

• Introduction of KSDE SETS staff
• Panel of veteran special education administrators sharing TIPS of the Trade and Q & A time
• Review of online Special Education Administrators’ Guide and Resources (new format)
• Blueprint, especially for administrators in the first few years, of recommended Leadership Conference sessions and prioritizing work for first 100 days

This meeting will be posted on the TASN website for those unable to attend on July 8.
