By Therese Willkomm Hundreds of apps are now available to assist students who experience anxiety, OCD, ADHD, autism, mood disorders, or who simply have difficult transitioning from one task to another. This session will explore 30 different apps to help individuals in regulation of emotions, voice regulation, task transitioning, apps with positive reinforcement, apps that provide emotional and behavioral feedback, and task completion. Apps that will be explored include: meditation and relaxation apps; app for journaling or recording emotional symptoms; apps targeted toward treatment of symptoms and behavioral symptom tracking; apps that help in task transitioning; apps for individuals who experience trauma or PTSD; and apps that prompt the person to perform an essential task on time.
